The Cargo Stick ®
Years ago, the collaboration started between Stolk Staal, a fourth-generation steel business that originated in the early 20th century, and the world of recycling. The request for the storage of recycled plastic posts opened the eyes of the Stolk brothers, who are not averse of thinking outside the box, which often leads to synergy.
After years of experimentation and testing, the correct composition of recycled synthetics has been found, resulting in a rock-hard unbreakable core with a flexible anti-slip layer on the outside. This keeps the Cargo Stick portable, provides a high friction coefficient, and ensures it will last for at least several months. The Cargo Stick is patented and certified on the basis of these unique features.
The majority of our customers transport steel pipes, plates and natural stone, for which the Cargo Stick works ideally. This is also confirmed by the Dutch Traffic Police. Because the high friction coefficient ensures that fewer lashing straps are required, your load can be transported safely and fully compliant to all European rules and regulations.

Recycled material
The Cargo Stick is made of recycled synthetics and therefore contributes to a better environment by limiting deforestation, waste of good wood and a significant CO2 reduction.
Moisture resistant
Unlike wood, the Cargo Stick does not absorb moisture, and therefore no reduction in skid resistance occurs. Because of this Cargo Sticks can be used for several months without deteriorating in quality.
Safety
Due to the high friction coefficient, road safety increases and therefore requires fewer lashing straps to secure the load which saves time, effort and money.
Lower costs
Using the Cargo Stick does not require any investment from our clients. In fact, all of our customers save costs from week one compared to the daily use of dunnage wrapped in rubber cladding.
Convenience
Cargo Stick completely services your company, so no more periodic orders and deliveries. We deliver your Cargo Sticks on location, collect them once they need to be replaced for recycling, and immediately deliver a new load of Cargo Sticks.
C02 reduction
The Cargo Stick is circular, which means that it can be reused many times without loss of quality. This allows your company to present a green label because of realizing a significant CO2 reduction.
